Thomas Mikal Ford of “Martin” has died at 52.
Sadly, it has been confirmed that Thomas Mikal Ford, a.k.a. Tommy from “Martin”, has passed away. His family released an official statement via Ford’s Instagram, “To all family and friends of Tommy Ford. We would like to inform everyone that our brother passed away today October 12, 2016 surrounded by his loving family. Please keep his family in your prayers as they go through this challenging time. He was so dearly loved by so many and for that lets all be grateful for a life well served.”
As previously reported, Ford had been hospitalized since Sunday after an aneurysm ruptured in his abdomen. His health had declined since, eventually leading to him being placed on life support. This afternoon, his family made the decision to turn off the life support machine.
Ford’s Martin co-star, Carl Payne, showed up at the hospital today to be by his side before he passed. Payne has since stated that Ford’s family will announce funeral arrangements accordingly.
