South Coast Music Group and Interscope Records are ecstatic in announcing DaBaby’s new album KIRK has debuted at #1 on the Billboard 200 selling 145,000 album equivalents.

Alongside dominating the Billboard 200, KIRK also reigned in critical acclaim with a star-studded list of guest features to accompany DaBaby’s latest offering – including Chance The Rapper, Gucci Mane, Kevin Gates, Lil Baby, Migos, Moneybagg Yo, Nicki Minaj and Stunna4Vegas.

Being sure to maintain the same vitality that has rightfully cemented DaBaby at the forefront of ingenuity when it comes to the cinematic-esque quality of his innovative music videos – KIRK’s latest visual treatment comes from the standout single titled ‘VIBEZ‘, produced by frequent collaborator and South Carolina native Jetsonmade.

The follow-up to DaBaby’s recent album Baby on Baby – featuring the double-platinum single ‘Suge‘ – KIRK is riddled with such tracks as the celebratory lead single ‘Intro‘ that also draws a pathos appeal with the remembrance of his late father. As referenced, “They goin’ crazy when they play it, head bobbin’ and shit/And I’m just somewhere fucked up thinkin’ ’bout my father and shit“.

With a robust production from DaBaby’s DJ/Producer DJ Kid, Intro is the retelling of a personal truth that warrants much patience in understanding what resounding power derives from using a loss of this stature as a means to galvanize a willful desire to thrive holistically – shedding more context on the mantra “going baby“.

DaBaby is set to embark on a North American tour featuring support from Stunna4Vegas kicking off on November 16 in Minneapolis, MN.
