Bobby Shmurda may be able to celebrate Christmas at home with his family this year. It has been almost a year since the 21 year old “Hot N*gga” rapper was arrested along with 14 members of his GS9 squad. But things may be looking up for Shmurda. After it became more than obvious that his record label Epic Records wouldn’t put up $2 million dollars to bail him out of jail, Shmurda’s lawyers made four attempts at having his bail reduced. Unfortunately, they were denied all four times.
But now there are reports surfacing that Shmurda may be released from prison as early as tomorrow. Allegedly, Shmurda’s family has stepped in and offered collateral for his bail. The Brooklyn native’s aunt has even put several of her properties on the line in a effort to get him to help him out. The family has also been working with NY bondsman Ira Judelson.
After speaking with prosecutors to discuss his bail situation, Bobby’s legal team has put together a 200 page “bulletproof” document that details the source of every single dollar that is family is putting forth for his release.
