Mac Miller was arrested early Thursday morning.
The month of May has been quite challenging for Mac Miller. Following a public breakup with Ariana Grande, Miller is now behind bars.
According to TMZ, the “We” rapper was arrested today for a DUI after crashing his 2016 G-Wagon and fleeing the scene. Around 1:00 a.m. this morning, Miller crashed into a power pole, knocking it down. Miller and two passengers in the vehicle fled the scene on foot.
Apparently, a witness called the police, but by the time authorities arrived, Miller was already gone. Police ran the plates on his truck and got his address. They later found him at his home, where he admitted to driving drunk and fleeing the scene.
One of the arresting officers told TMZ that Miller was “the most polite and nice intoxicated person we’ve ever seen.”
Miller has yet to post his $15,000 bail.
