Nicki Minaj makes a return with “Barbie Tingz” and “Chun-Li.”
Today has proven to be quite a special day for Nicki Minaj fans. After a four month hiatus, Nicki steps back into the spotlight with two new songs, “Barbie Tingz” and “Chun Li.”
Barbie Tingz is a bouncy track that take aims at Nicki’s copycats, “Rap bitches tell they team make ’em like Barbie / Had to come off IG so they can’t stalk me / All they do is copy looks, steal music too / Want to see what bitches do when they lose the blueprint.” Nicki also shouts out Jay-Z, Lil Wayne and Drake on the new record.
Minaj’s second new single, “Chun-Li”, is another witty track in which Nicki pays homage to Street Fighter. Minaj raps, “These birds copy every word, every inch / But gang-gang got the hammer and the wrench.”
