Royce Da 5’9″ shares the video for “Boblo Boat.”
After sharing “Boblo Boat” featuring J. Cole on Friday, Royce Da 5’9″ makes a return with visuals for the track. In the J. Cole-directed video, both Royce and Cole spit their verses at a carnival, with scenes of a group of teenagers stealing alcohol from a liquor and breaking into an amusement park. Cedric The Entertainer, whose role is a security guard in the video, eventually shuts down all of the fun.
The Cool and Dre and 808-Ray-produced track serves as the lead single from Royce’s upcoming Book Of Ryan album. Royce stated, “I just want the fans to hear my evolution as an artist as well as me as a man and learn from my mistakes. I think they got a little bit of that with Layers, but Book of Ryan is me letting it all out. We’ve been taught everything but the right way to do shit. I want to be an example to the younger artists and help out any way I can.”
