Before Future hits the stage, he demands a few particular items be waiting for him in his dressing room. One great thing about being rich and famous is that you can have anything you want, whenever you. With that being said, I was shocked to find out that Future’s demands were far from over the top and he’s a pretty normal, laid back guy. (I can’t imagine what Beyonce’s or Lil Wayne’s tour rider looks like).
The 32 year old Atlanta rapper likes to nibble on some common snacks that we all love with a little bit of liquor on the side. In addition to taking home $150,000 for a 45 minute set, he requests that 4 bottles of Ace of Spades, Moet, and Ciroc be on deck, as well as “fresh white powdered” donuts, chicken fingers, cheddar popcorn, and broccoli. Future also likes a certain vibe in the room, so he asks for lemon grass candles be provided.
It isn’t uncommon for artists to request random, yet shocking things while on tour. Jay Z requests that the thermostat of his dressing room be set to exactly 71 degrees. Jay doesn’t ask for a lot of snacks in his room, but there must be three bottles of his brand of champagne available. Lastly, things have to be suitable for Blue Ivy. Jigga’s tour rider clearly states, “For starters, the entire suite must be childproofed with all corners, sharp edges, and electrical outlets all covered, and statues, lamps, and breakable objects removed.” It is also requested that Blue be served only organic whole milk.
