Young Thug has been cleared of the last charge stemming from a 2015 arrest.
In July 2015, Young Thug’s Georgia home was raided, and he was slapped with a number of charges including felony cocaine possession, felony marijuana possession, and three counts of felony gun possession.
Previously, everything had been dismissed except for the marijuana charge. But as of Monday, the tables have turned.
The judge ruled in Thug’s favor and dropped the final charge after his attorney argued that the police raided his home without a proper search warrant. The “Digits” rapper is now in the clear and can solely focus on his music.
Recently, Thug appeared on Calvin Harris’ new track “Heatstroke” with Pharrell and Ariana Grande.
Young Thug’s rep have yet to release a statement regarding the matter, but Thug later expressed how relieved he was via Twitter. Check out his tweets below.
