Atlanta‘s beloved Big Bad SlimeBall has unearthed his latest offering Anyways, a 16-track LP of truculent remarks that demonstrate Nudy’s dogged demeanor and pictorial recollection of a life riddled with hardship.
A typical day for EA’s (East Atlanta) cunning rhymester consist of dicey decisions and monetary stratagem that epitomizes a hustler’s aim. With a plain-spoken rhyme scheme illustrative of his expressive haughtiness towards the adversary at hand, Young Nudy is most effective when he voices the narrative over warbling trap beats with narcotic-filled innuendos.
Although Anyways enlists zero features, it does entail accompanying production from the likes of DJ Marc B, 20Rocket, COUPE and Young Lord Sean to name a few – drawing a playful, yet equally uncanny energy.
Young Nudy hasn’t done much promotion surrounding this release, demonstrating his reserved disposition in keeping to himself. However, if you’re attentive to his comical, yet informative social media appearances – chances are you’ve managed to come across the video for ‘No Go‘, the project’s leading single.
With preparing to embark on a statewide tour in support of his Anyways debut, die-hard fans are actively keeping an attentive eye out for when the tour makes landfall in a neighboring city. 2020 is definitely trending upward regarding the nature of Nudy’s under the radar status.
