Toni Braxton and Birdman are getting married!
Well, the cat is out of the bag! It’s true, Toni Braxton and Birdman are engaged. After a year or more of speculation, Braxton finally spilled the beans in a trailer for the new season of Braxton Family Values.
While flashing off her huge ring, Toni says, “I have an announcement to make. I’m engaged!” Filming took place months ago, so it’s possible that Toni and the Cash Money CEO may have already tied the knot.
Last month, during an appearance on Good Morning America, Toni told host Robin Roberts, “Well, I am not married unlike my big mouth sister Tamar has been saying everywhere! I’m definitely not married yet but we’re working together.” Moments later the “Breathe Again” singer winked and flashed her huge rock at the camera.
In 2016, Braxton’s mother, Evelyn, admitted that she approved of her daughters relationship – even speaking highly of Birdman during an appearance on The Rickey Smiley Show, “I think he is a nice man. I don’t care what others say about him. He is a nice man. He is full of respect.”
She added, “I met him years ago. Toni been knowing him… 15 years ago something like that. Ever since I’ve been knowing that man, he’s been phenomenal. So let me say, I hope so.”
