Waka Flocka may have taken a joke too far, and now he’s under fire for it. Earlier today, Waka posted a video onto his Snapchat of a little girl in a dog cage.
The distressed toddler is seen crying and reaching through the bars for Waka as he asks her, “Want me to bond you out? Want me to bond you? OK, I’m bonding you out … Come on baby, get out of jail”. Seconds later, he lets her out of the cage, comforts her, and then asks her if she’s having a bad hair day. The clip exhibited harmless fun, but many parents attacked Waka, claiming that the Atlanta rapper had malicious intent when he locked the child in the cage.
It wasn’t long before Waka fired back stating that the mysterious little girl is his niece, and that she locked herself in the cage by accident. In a short Instagram clip, Waka stated, “F*cking d*ckheads, y’all think we locking kids in f*ckin’ closets and dog cages? Nooooo. This is our niece. She locked herself in by accident … She was crying. Yes I let her out. The f*ck we look like locking kids in cages? Get the f*ck off my page, get outta the media. Get a f*ckin’ life, stop worrying about our life. No we not locking kids in the godd*mn closet. Goodbye. Have a nice day.”
