Waka Flocka Reportedly Hit With $55,000 Tax Lien

Waka Flocka owes the state of Georgia a large sum of money.

It appears that Waka Flocka may need to hire an accountant ASAP to get his finances in order. According to The Blast, the “No Hands” rapper owes the state of Georgia $55,000 in back taxes. Now, Waka has been hit with a state tax lien over the unpaid debt, which has continued to accumulate over the past few years.

The Georgia Department of Revenue claims that Waka failed to pay $27,000 in taxes in 2012. Due to interest and penalties, the total has grown to $55,241.35. If Waka doesn’t pay up soon, tax officials will start seizing his property and assets.

This isn’t Waka Flocka’s first run in with financial issues. In December 2015, bosses at Eagle’s Landing Property Owners Association filed a statutory lien against him – accusing him of failing to pay $20,000 in unpaid housing association fees.

Waka has yet to release a statement.
