XXXTentacion has been hit with 8 more felony charges.
Things aren’t looking so promising for XXXTentacion. The “Look At Me” rapper was already facing 7 felony charges in his domestic violence case – now prosecutors have added 8 additional charges – which are all related to witness tampering.
TMZ is reporting that prosecutors believe the alleged witness tampering took place in October 2016 when XXX was initially arrested for domestic violence for allegedly beating up his then-pregnant ex-girlfriend.
Law enforcement officials say XXXTentacion made multiple phone calls while incarcerated, all of which have been recorded. Those calls have been used as evidence – stemming prosecutors to add on eight additional charges.
On Friday, XXX was taken straight to jail after he was slapped with 7 felony charges. The charges include different degrees of witness tampering and witness harassment. XXX was already facing charges of battery against a pregnant woman and false imprisonment.
Due to the newfound evidence, the judge has taken away his phone privileges.
