Tyga is currently mourning the loss of his longtime friend and bodyguard, Arlester “Punch” Henderson. On Wednesday morning, Henderson, 29 was killed in a freak accident on Los Angeles’ 10 freeway. According to police, Henderson had collided with another vehicle on the freeway. Following the collision, Henderson exited his SUV to check on the passengers in the other car when he was struck and killed by a passing car.
A representative from Tyga’s camp stated that the “Rack City” rapper is “devastated, shocked and heartbroken”. On Thursday, Tyga posted a photo of himself and Henderson with the caption reading, “Rip Punch…I know you looking down from a better place.” Sources close to Tyga revealed that his relationship with Henderson was much more than work-related, and that the two bonded like brothers.
