Troy Ave was supposed to appear in front of a judge over the weekend after surveillance cameras showed the “Doo Doo” rapper firing off five shots in New York’s Irving Plaza.

Unfortunately, the court date was postponed so Troy could receive additional medical treatment at NYU Langone Medical Center. Doctors are reportedly removing bone fragments from his injured leg. Troy’s new court date has yet to be revealed, but most likely it will take place after he has completely recovered from surgery.

On Wednesday, Troy made a decision at T.I.’s concert that would change his life forever. Officials believe Troy let off five shots in a green room at the venue. Troy has been charged with attempted murder, reckless endangerment, and illegal possession of a firearm. However, once the results of the ballistic test return, Troy’s charges could be upgraded to murder. That night, a member of Troy Ave’s BSB crew, Ronald “Banga” McPhatter was shot in the stomach and later pronounced dead at the hospital. Troy is a suspect in McPhatter’s murder.

Troy remains in the hospital where he is reportedly handcuffed to his bed, and under the supervision of a police officer 24 hours a day.

Stay tuned for updates.
