Houston rapper Travis Scott was arrested yesterday after encouraging fans to rush the stage during his set at Lollapalooza in Chicago. Travis is known to put on a good show, but this time he may have taken things too far. The “3500” rapper was only on stage for 5 minutes performing for a crowd of 100,000 fans before his set was shut down. He reportedly told the crowd to ignore the security and jump the barricades.
When he realized things were getting out of hand, he tried diffusing the situation by telling the crowd, “They gon’ stop the show if ya’ll don’t get down.” Luckily, law enforcement quickly stepped in and got everything under control before anyone was injured. Travis fled the scene, but was later taken into custody. He was charged with disorderly conduct.
Travis Scott is set to release his debut studio album “Rodeo” on September 4, 2015 on Grand Hustle Records and Epic Records.
