Soulja Boy has been arrested for violating his probation.
At 7 a.m. this morning, police arrested Soulja Boy at his Hollywood Hills home, located at in the 3200 block of Dos Palos Drive. The Los Angeles Police Department raided Soulja’s home after receiving a Crime Stoppers tip that he’d been threatening people online with guns. During their search, authorities found a gun – which violates the terms of his probation.
It’s no secret that the 26 year old “Crank That” rapper has been threatening various rappers and slanging around guns for weeks in his Instagram videos. However, it’s unclear as to who placed the call to the police. Unfortunately for Soulja, this isn’t his first run in with the law.
Back in 2014, Soulja was arrested in Granada Hills on suspicion of possessing a loaded gun. He was riding around in the passenger seat of a vehicle when the driver was pulled over for running a stop sign. Soulja denied having any connection to the firearm, however, he received 2 years of probation.
