Last night, a shooting occurred during T.I.’s show in New York City’s Irving Plaza that left a 33 year old man dead and three other victims injured. T.I. was set to headline the show, but the shooting took place before the “Dope” rapper even hit the stage. NYPD Chief Aubry confirmed that Uncle Murda and Maino were performing when shots were fire, luckily they weren’t injured. PNB Rock had already taken the stage 30 minutes prior to the shooting, while Dave East and Anderson Paak were both slated to perform.

Rapper Troy Ave was also in attendance at the show, and suffered a gun shot wound to his leg. His management team released a statement saying that he was scheduled to perform at the event. He is currently recovering at a New York hospital. Allegedly, Troy’s crew was involved in a scuffle that led to the shooting.

One witness who attended the show told CBS, “It was about to go on. We saw, like, two people up on the VIP arguing, and then everybody started running because they heard the shots.” Another woman stated, “It was terrifying. We just kept running with everybody else because they were running for their lives, so we just started running, and I fell, and I got stomped on a little bit. My shoe came off.”

No arrests have been made, but an investigation is underway. Stay tuned as this story develops…
