Living a life full of fortune and fame isn’t always what it’s cracked up to be. Hip Hop producer Scott Storch, 41, has proven just that. In the early 2000’s, Storch became one of the highest earning producers in the music industry working with artists such as Snoop Dogg, Lil Wayne, Chris Brown, T.I., Jessica Simpson, Dr. Dre, Nas, Beyonce, 50 Cent, and Justin Timberlake. Storch racked in more than $70 million dollars, but soon blew through it all due to his lavish lifestyle and a outrageous cocaine habit that he picked up while vacationing in Los Angeles.
According to bankruptcy documents, Storch filed for bankruptcy June 25th, 2015, and is claiming to own only $3,600 in assets – including $100 in cash, $500 in clothing, and a $3K watch. What’s most shocking of all is that his music companies are valued at $0. Scott also claims that his total income for 2014 was $10,000.
What Scott probably regrets the most is blowing through $30 million dollars in a 6 month span on drugs. Not to mention all the money spent on cars, houses, and trips.
His drug dealer is somewhere paid right now. I hope somebody, somewhere, learns from this.
