Rih Rih is definitely putting in work these days, and it’s paying off big time. Last month, her “Anti” album went platinum, proving to be a huge success.
Now, we have just learned that the 28 year old Bajan beauty has just landed her 14th number 1 hit on the Billboard Hot 100 with her track “Work” featuring Drake. Rihanna is now the third artist in music history with the most number 1 singles. The Beatles have racked in a whopping 20 number 1 hits, Mariah Carey nabbed 18, and Rihanna just beat Michael Jackson’s record of 13. Congrats to Rih Rih!
An ecstatic Rih hopped on Twitter to thank Rih Navy, her fans who have remained loyal to her since the beginning of her career tweeting, “#WORK tops Billboard #Hot100!! Navy you killed it this week! #NavyRDie”. Drake took to Instagram to celebrate the milestone as well, and thank his ex-lover writing, “Two number ones and they are both cause of you … Thank you!!” underneath a cute photo of the two hugging. The first number one hit that Drake is referring to is 2010’s “What’s My Name”.
