The controversy between Meek Mill and Drake dominated the entire summer of last year, but after taking several public L’s from the 6 God, Meek decided to throw in the towel and move on with his career. Up until now, the hatchet has been buried. However, Drake’s accused ghostwriter, Quentin Miller, recently shared some startling news about a physical altercation with Meek.
During an interview with DJ Vlad, Miller revealed that Meek and his Dreamchasers crew approached him in a Nike store in Los Angeles where the Philly rapper informed him that he didn’t appreciate the letter that he dropped and it made him seem like a liar. (Meek was referring to a letter that Miller posted onto Tumblr stating that he was never a ghostwriter for Drake).
Miller told Vlad, “We was in L.A., I was walking to the Nike store, and he approached me. And this is really my first time talking with Meek, and basically he told me, like, he ain’t really appreciate the letter I dropped and [the letter] made him seem like he was a liar and what not. And they f*cking stole off on me in the Nike store and ran. I shed blood in the Nike store [in Los Angeles].”
Miller continued, “I’m not a street n*gga I’m a suburban kid. I’m not out here to be the toughest n*gga. Punching me is like punching Frank Ocean or like punching ILOVEMAKONNEN. What kind of points are you getting off of that? I’m like, What the f*ck are you hitting me for? [Drake] is in Atlanta. At the time, he was in Atlanta with Future. What are you coming up on me for? But it’s whatever, man.”
