Nas and Kelis are finally on the same page.
Nas and Kelis have been engulfed in a nasty custody battle over their son for quite some time now. But not it appears that the former couple has finally reached a settlement that will allow them to successfully co-parent.
According to TMZ, both Nas and Kelis have agreed to share joint and legal custody of Knight, 8. The agreement is very specific, and breaks down who gets Knight on various holidays.
For example, Knight will spend Mother’s Day with Kelis, and Father’s Day with Nas. In addition, they will alternate his birthdays – Nas will get Knight on even years, while Kelis gets the odd years.
It hasn’t been an easy road for Nas and Kelis. As previously reported, Nas described Kelis as “hostile” in court documents. Apparently, Nas tried work out a fair custody agreement with Kelis outside of court many times, but she was reportedly uncooperative.
