Well, who has the last laugh now? Meek Mill took a lot of L’s last year during his beef with Drake, but the Philly rapper may finally be able to put that all behind him.

Last night, the 2016 Billboard Music Awards took place, and surprisingly Meek Mill was awarded Top Rap Album Of The Year for his 2015 LP Dreams Worth More Than Money. Winning the award, Meek topped Kendrick Lamar’s To Pimp a Butterfly, Dr. Dre’s Compton, Drake and Future’s What a Time to Be Alive and Drake’s If You’re Reading This It’s Too Late. Meanwhile, Drake took home an award for Top Rap Artist, beating Fetty Wap, Future, Wiz Khalifa, and Silento.

Via Instagram, Nicki Minaj congratulated her boo writing, “TOP.RAP.ALBUM Dreams Worth More Than Money”. That was soon followed by Rick Ross tweeting, “Congrats @MeekMill #dwmtm”. Although Meek is still serving 90 days of house arrest, he’s managed to keep busy and drop new music. His Dreamchasers 4 mixtape is allegedly dropping soon, and it was announced a few days ago that he is teaming up with Puma to release a “Dreamchasers” shoe.

Congrats Meek!
