Yesterday, Meek Mill donated 60,000 bottles of water to Flint, Michigan residents, on top of donating money to the Flint Child and Family Health Development Fund. Meek’s efforts inspired other artists like Big Sean and Blac Youngsta to raise awareness and donate to the cause. Today, Meek followed up with another admirable move.
The 28 year old Philly native stopped by Overbrook High School in his hometown where he offered a few encouraging and inspiring words to the students. During his speech he also announced that he has enrolled in college which was followed by a roar of cheers and applause. The “I’ma Boss” rapper didn’t reveal what college he will be attending, nor the degree he plans on pursuing, but either way it’s still a step in the right direction.
