Lil Yachty feels that Biggie is “overrated.”
Lil Yachty and Burberry Perry recently appeared on Pitchfork’s “Overrated/Underrated” series and said some things that have surely ruffled a few feathers. During the episode, the two gave their input on a number of topics including Tom Hanks, taxes, Biggie, and fake IDs.
Yachty revealed he never had any desire to obtain a fake ID, “We actually were both kind of good kids. We didn’t really club. If you can’t get in, just don’t go. We never drunk alcohol.” Perry chimed in and described the taste of beer as “salty pee”, leaving both rappers laughing hysterically.
As far as The Notorious B.I.G., Lil Boat simply called him “overrated”, while Perry went a little further into detail, stating, “I don’t know, I’ve heard like, his stuff in movies. I grew up very sheltered… I can’t say the same for him.” Yachty also threw a little shade at people who download music illegally, “I need all you teenagers to go out there and illegally download my album. So now I don’t have to.”
