Lil Yachty has new tunes in store.
Yesterday, via Instagram, Lil Yachty teased a new track and revealed that his album is on the way. In a short clip, you can see Yachty in the studio parading around to one of his unreleased songs with a huge stack of money in each hand. The caption of the clip read, “iiiiiii woke up like dis #albumontheway.”
Despite his short-lived beef with Soulja Boy, and every other rapper that despise’s him for being a talented emcee with red hair and beads – Boat continues to succeed and move forward in his career. So far this year, he has released two mixtapes, “Lil Boat”, and “Summer Songs 2”. Not to mention, his collaboration track with D.R.A.M., “Broccoli”, has been certified double platinum.
Last week, Lord Jamar stated that anyone who listened to Yachty’s music was “stupid.” The “One Night” rapper shot back stating, “Sometimes what’s appealing is because the people have been dumbed down so much that the people who like this are actually stupid.”
