Lil Wayne is furious that his interview with “Nightline” aired.

Lil Wayne has fired his publicists after they were unable to block his “Nightline” interview from airing on ABC. Earlier this week, Wayne sat down with reporter, Lindsey Davis, for a disastrous interview. Davis asked Wayne how he felt about the Black Lives Matter movement, and his crude and outlandish comments have landed him a heap of trouble.

Wayne has since issued an apology, although it hasn’t proved to make the situation much better. According to TMZ, the “Lollipop” rapper’s team never approved Davis’ questions about Black Lives Matter, therefore, no subject was off limits. After the interview, an angered Wayne was completely dissatisfied and had his camp send several emails to the network asking that the segment be removed. Unfortunately, ABC never responded back to the emails.

Wayne claims that Davis crossed the line when she began questioning him about his daughter Reginae, stating, “When the reporter began asking me questions about my daughter being labeled a b*tch and a hoe, I got agitated. From there, there was no thought put into her questions and my responses. Apologies to anyone who was offended.”
