I bet ya’ll didn’t see this coming! Lil Wayne, Juvenile, and Mannie Fresh are reportedly working on a joint album. According to Mannie Fresh, the trio’s fans inspired them to come together like old days.
Mannie Fresh told AllHipHop, “It was a long time coming…The fans demanded this. To them, it’s iconic. People were like, ‘This is what I want to see…It’s necessary that y’all come back and do this album.’ And even show the planet that whatever was going on with us we can get over that and be brilliant businessmen as well as entrepreneurs and put some money on the table and watch the magic happen.” Fresh also revealed that they have put any bad blood from the past behind them for the sake of the music. Juvie says they already have features lined up.
Wayne, Mannie, and Juvie have made history in the past, through solo work, as well as material by Hot Boys and Big Tymers. Their most successful hits included “Bling Bling”, “I Need A Hot Girl” and “Tha Block Is Hot”. Last year, during Lil Wayne’s Lil Weezyana Fest he bought out his fellow Hot Boy, Turk, and together they performed a number of hits like “Bling Bling”, “Project Bitch”, and “Back That A*z Up”.
