The Queen Bee is making a comeback! In the past three months, Lil Kim has released a slew of new singles including “Summer Sixteen (Freestyle)”, “I Did It For Brooklyn” with Maino, “Panda (Remix)”, and “#Mine” featuring Kevin Gates. But the Brooklyn emcee has no plans of slowing down.
Yesterday, via Twitter, Kim made the announcement that she would be dropping a new project tweeting “#LilKimSeason!!! ⛈ 3/28/16 #Mixtape”. Excited fans flooded her comments section writing, “WE READY FOR THIS KIM!!! Please iTunes this 😏😏😏😏”, “it’s my dream to do a song with you ! 👸🏾👑🐝🐝🐝🐝 cant wait for this mixtape though ! 😆😆”, and “WOOT WOOT I’ve been so hyped about the new music 👑🐝 #LilKimSeason you hoes outta season Kim’s the reason 😘”. The cover art for the project consists of a cartoon version of Kim with blonde hair, topped off with a floating crown.
Back in December, Kim told Hot 97 that she would be releasing an album in 2016 stating, “I’m working on a new album for next year. I put up a post not too long ago, I was at my old record label, so maybe. I’ve got a couple tours that I’m going to be a part of.” It’s unclear if this is the same project that Kim was referring too, but either way, fans are looking forward to Monday!
