Finally! Lil Herb, a.k.a. G Herbo fans can breathe a sigh of relief. After a number of delays, Chicago artist Lil Herb has taken to Instagram to reveal that he will be dropping his highly anticipated mixtape, “Ballin’ Like I’m Kobe”. Herbo posted a short clip on Instagram with the caption, “#BLIK 9/29/15 SORRY FOR THE WAIT THANK YALL FOR THE PATIENCE IF I SEE ALOT OF PPL GOING CRAZY TRENDING SHIT I MIGHT DROP EARLY 💯 ITS REALLY REAL GUYS @mymixtapez”.

Fans have been waiting so long for this project that it seems like more of an album than an actual mixtape. Although Herb hasn’t named any guest appearances on the mixtape, or released a tracklist, you can expect to hear “No Limit”, “Shine”, “L’s”, and “Ain’t Right”, featuring Lil Durk.

Herb recently signed to Cinematic Music Group. However, it was also announced that under the deal he will still operate primarily out of his 150 Dream Team imprint. Cinematic Music Group founder Jonny Shipes stated, “I think with Herb, I feel like I’m walking the streets of Chicago with him when I listen to him. Aside from him being a really dope rapper, storyteller and vivid painter, the youth f*cks with him super hard.”
