Kim Kardashian has filed a lawsuit against MediaTakeOut.com.
Kim Kardashian has fired back at MediaTakeOut after the gossip site posted a story claiming she staged the Paris robbery. The 35 year old “Keeping Up With The Kardashian” star filed a federal lawsuit against MediaTakeOut, as well as its owner, Fred Mwangaguhunga, for libel.
MediaTakeOut has posted three articles writing that Kardashian “let the robbers in” her apartment as a means of making a fraudulent insurance claim, and “If she faked the robbery … she just committed a FEDERAL CRIME.” Kardashian’s lawyers, Marty Singer and Andrew Brettler, reached out to MediaTakeOut demanding that they retract the stories and issue an apology, but received no response. However, the posts have since been taken down.
Kim has remained silent since the robbery occurred, but Khloe Kardashian appeared on Ellen DeGeneres today and stated the following, “I mean, [Kim’s] not doing that well. It’s incredibly traumatic what happened to her. But our family is super close and great and we’ll get through this together. We do appreciate all of your guys’ love and support. It will take time.”
Khloe went on to say, “I think it’s just a wake up call to make a lot of life adjustments … This is a really serious matter, and for Kim I think that’s really personal as to when that emotional, like, terror…you could move on from that.”
