Drake slams Kid Cudi, despite his current mental status.

Over the weekend, Drake premiered a couple of new tracks on OVO Sound Radio and announced he would he dropping a new project in December called, “More Life.” Although fans were ecstatic to learn that the 6 God has new tunes on the way, they were more focused on why Drake was slamming Kid Cudi.

On his song, “2 Birds, 1 Stone”, Drake raps, “You were the man on the moon / Now you go through phases / Life of the angry and famous / Rap like I know I’m the greatest and give you the tropical flavors / Still never been on hiatus / You stay xan and perked up so when reality set in you don’t gotta face it.”

Almost immediately, disappointed fans began to lash out at Drake on social media asking him why he would throw such a low blow at Cudi – who is currently in rehab for “depression and suicidal urges.” Shockingly, Drizzy responded back to one fan writing, “Mans need to stop mentioning my name when they get geeked. Supposed to be all love out here word to my bro Pablo.”

Obviously disgusted with Drake’s lyrics, Cudi’s manager, Dennis Cummings, later took to Instagram to get a few things off of his chest. In Cudi’s defense, Cummings tweeted, “Drake corny as fuck. How Aubrey and his writers take a shot with the same hands they used to beg for a feature???”
