Kid Cudi made his first public appearance since checking into rehab.

Over the weekend, Kid Cudi returned to the stage after a short stint in rehab. On Saturday, the 32 year old rapper performed at ComplexCon in Long Beach, California, with two special guests in tow. After performing his notable hits “Pursuit of Happiness”, “Erase Me”, and “Frequency”, Cudi brought out Travis Scott and Pharrell to assist him on “Surfin’, “Through the Late Night”, and “Way Back.”.

Before performing “Mr. Rager”, Cudi shared a special message for his fans, “This right here is dedicated to all the f*cked up kids like me.” He then thanked them for supporting him, “Y’all gonna make me cry and sh*t.” The past few weeks, Cudi has been in rehab receiving treatment for “depression and suicidal thoughts.”

Last month, Cudi penned an emotional letter to his fans, writing, “I am not at peace. I haven’t been since you’ve known me. If I didn’t come here, I wouldve done something to myself. I simply am a damaged human swimming in a pool of emotions everyday of my life.”

“Theres a ragin violent storm inside of my heart at all times. Idk what peace feels like. Idk how to relax. My anxiety and depression have ruled my life for as long as I can remember and I never leave the house because of it.”
