Welp, I can’t say that I’m surprised. Kanye West is a Gemini, so his indecisiveness and back and forth regarding the name of his upcoming album is to be expected. With only three days remaining until his album drops, you would think that Ye has already finalized everything… buttttt, he hasn’t.
Over the past few weeks, Ye has been rotating three possible titles for the album, SWISH, Waves, and So Help Me God. Most recently, Ye announced via Twitter that he would be naming the album “Waves”, but that didn’t sit too well with Wiz Khalifa who reminded everyone that Max B started the whole “wave” era. After a messy Twitter war, the two rappers squashed their beef, but now it looks like Ye is back to square one.
Yesterday, Kanye hopped back on Twitter tweeting, “There may be a new secret album title” and “Caught 10,000 retweets in half a second #facts”. I guess this is all a part of Ye’s creative process, so I’m not mad at him, but a straight answer would be nice. It’s starting to look like we’re all going to have to wait until the 11th for the big reveal.
