Juelz Santana has been taking into custody.
Early this morning, Juelz Santana surrendered to Port Authority Police. He will reportedly appear in court some time today to weapon charges.
As previously reported, Santana fled Newark Liberty International Airport after the Transportation Security Administration found a loaded gun in his bag. Leaving all of his belongings behind, the Harlem rapper vanished into thin air – more than likely jumping into a cab.
Yesterday, The South Passaic Daily Voice reported that Santana would be turning himself in today. It’s unclear if Santana has hired an attorney or not, but bringing a firearm to an airport security checkpoint is a crime punishable by a $9,800 fine and a possible arrest.
