From QC to NC, Jordan Hollywood Displays Musical Adroitness During His Performance

This past weekend Quality Control artist/The Wasted Youth CEO Jordan Hollywood invaded Greensboro, NC at The Blind Tiger to deliver quite a memorable set encompassed with Hennessy and a good time.

The coveted musician graced the stage of a somewhat dimly lit live music venue stationed near the epicenter of UNCG’s (The University of North Carolina at Greensboro) divergent campus, being sure to maintain the same vivacity that has contributed to his growing fan base.

In lieu of a few unprecedented circumstances, more specifically the inclement weather, the crowd turnout somewhat diminished as the weather picked up, but those that remained were compensated with a commanding stage presence and a willful desire to display superb musicianship.

Jordan’s set list entailed a wide-range of records from his eclectic catalog, including one of his most notable singles ‘LET ME FIND OUT‘ featuring Quality Control label-mate Lil Baby and his latest offering from QC’s compilation album CTS2 (Control The Streets Volume 2) titled ‘Testament‘ – indisputably a fan favorite song among others.

Aside from the opening acts that carried somewhat of a differentiating aesthetic to their musical styling, one of my favorite takeaways from the show was Jordan Hollywood’s side-door exit from the facility, which was embraced with candid captures on mobile devices and caterwauls of glee.

Jordan literally broke down the drummer’s kit and the drummer continued to finish his solo performance as they made their way down the steps of the stage and out the door, in the rain, still playing…with a smile on his face the entire time.

Legend has it that if you love what you do you’ll never work a day in your life – Jordan Hollywood’s performance personified this mantra and his bravado was very telling of being appreciative of the moment.

Can’t wait to see what future endeavors are forthcoming for the young CEO.
