Jim Jones has no sympathy for Kanye West.
Yesterday, Kanye West assaulted a gym staff member before being hospitalized due to a “psychiatric emergency.” West’s physician, Dr. Michael Farzam, placed the call to 911 reporting that his patient’s name was Jim Jones, 39 years old, 5’8 and 175 pounds. He also added that West was suffering from “temporary psychosis due to sleep deprivation and dehydration.” When police and paramedics arrived, West was restrained and handcuffed to a gurney before being transported to UCLA Medical Center.
After news of West’s hospitalization went viral, Harlem rapper Jim Jones chimed in via Instagram to share his thoughts on the incident. Jones stated, “Now this lol I’m just mad they got my weight and height wrong lol I’m 205 lbs 5’11 in height and I been crazy evrybody know Tht lol hey Kanye them boost drop tommrow send me something or u gone need security not a doctor lol jokes jokes jokes.”
Jones followed up with a second post, “F*ck it my new alias is Kanye west the how I’m stepping out from now on all reservations flights hotels restaurants Th weed man uber car services we Litt lol can’t wait lol.”
Jones later spoke with TMZ, telling them that he expects an apology from Yeezy, “I don’t know what’s on Kanye mind but that’s definitely a funny thing to me. But on a serious side, that’s kinda f*cked up that he would use my name in such a manner. If people didn’t know it wasn’t him and they just thought it was Jim Jones doing the regular, crazy Jim Jones thing that could have got my as* in trouble. So for that alone, I should charge Kanye a sucker fee [laughs]. I don’t care about that type of sh*t.”
He went on to say, “I do need an apology I believe. Too scared to be in your own skin? Your name Kanye, my name Jim Jones. I didn’t know you wanted to trade lives. I wouldn’t want to be you anyway, not in my worst nightmare – I’m cool with who I am. I’m gonna start using his name. My new alias is Kanye West. I can’t wait to pull up to hotels, the Hermès stall and tell them Mr. West is outside.”
