Jeezy has donated 2,500 backpacks and school supplies to Atlanta students.
It’s that time of year again. The summer is almost over, and parents everywhere are scrambling to buy new clothes, backpacks, and school supplies. But Jeezy is here to save the day!
Over the weekend, Jeezy teamed up with his Street Dreamz Foundation to give back to his hometown of Atlanta for their annual Backpack Blessings Back-To-School Drive. Jeezy donated 2,500 backpacks filled with supplies to local elementary schools in preparation for the new school year.
The Snowman purchased 1,000 backpacks with his own money, and was joined by Lil Jon who matched his donation. The remainder of the backpacks and supplies were provided by Shanti Das and her Hip Hop Professional Foundation, Hot 107.9 Atlanta, and Walmart. Last year, the “Seen It All” rapper was also a helping hand to the community – donating 1,000 backpacks.
