Jay Z is taking his talents to India.

On November 19, (World Toilet Day), Jay Z will join forces with Demi Lovato and Coldplay to headline the very first Global Citizen Festival in Mumbai, India. The festival is a charity concert overseen by the Global Poverty Project, and will focus on sanitation, clean water, education and gender equality.

Most of the tickets will be offered for free to people who do social tasks as part of the festival’s Action Journey, a series of challenges to promote social good. However, a limited number of V.I.P. tickets will also be available for purchase. Using the Ketto crowdfunding site, the Mumbai show will raise money for children without parents and fund 25 children’s homes across the country.

Global Citizen CEO, Hugh Evans, released the following statement, “With over half a million young Indians taking over 1.8 million actions in support of our campaigns, earning their free tickets for the inaugural Global Citizen India Festival, it is exhilarating to see that the youth of India won’t wait for change.”

“We are thrilled to be launching this 15 year journey to end extreme poverty in India with the support of Coldplay, Jay Z and Demi Lovato and incredible Indian superstars like A.R. Rahman and Farhan Akhtar.”

Global Citizen Festival launched in 2012 and takes place annually at New York City’s Central Park.
