It’s no secret that we all damn near fell out of our chairs when we first laid eyes on the new Gucci. The 36 year old “F*ck The World” rapper was granted an early release from Indiana’s Terre Haute penitentiary last month. But many people are convinced that it’s not him – and that we are actually looking at a clone instead. Guwop’s signature beer belly stomach has been replaced with a six pack, a head full of curly hair, and a set of veneers. Gucci Mane is even in the process of getting his ice cream cone tattoo removed from his face.
The rumor was sparked after ThingUThink posted a bogus story on Boosie Badazz. The site quoted a fake Breakfast Club interview in which Boosie allegedly stated the following, “I rock with Gucci the long way but that ain’t the real Gucci, we both sitting in the studio and he seemed lost and after his show at Mansion he called me Herman […] You know they can do that crazy clone Sh*t these days, you look at Gucci and tell me that’s Gucci and ill pay yo child support and yo baby momma rent.”
Gucci Mane’s girlfriend, Keyshia Kaior, recently shut down the rumors and revealed that Gucci’s new physique is the result of working out and a healthier diet. In an attempt to put the rumors to rest, Gucci posted a Snapchat video where he stated, “I’m hearing that Gucci is a clone. I will neither support or deny those accusations.” I guess we’ll never know. Thoughts?
