Future is countersuing Rocko’s $10 million lawsuit.
Back in June, Rocko sued his former friend and collaborator, Future, for $10 million, claiming that he breached a 2011 contract with his label, A1 Recording, when he inked a side deal with Epic Records. Rocko is enraged that his former friend and collaborator received multi-million advances from Epic, but refused to pay him one dollar.
Rocko claims that he’s owed 25% percent of Future’s advances, as well as an additional 20 percent of Future’s tour and endorsement earnings – which amounts to an estimated $10 million.
Now, Future has countersued Rocko and A1 Records, claiming that his deal with Epic is legitimate, and that HE is the one who is owed money. Future says that Rocko still owes him recording costs and $10,000 in advances per album.
Shortly after Rocko filed the original suit, Future took to Twitter to blast Rocko, tweeting, “Ion want my n*gga lookin like no baby momma. Real street n*gga went to the court house,how did it feel when u signed the papers????”
