Foxy Brown has a lot of love for Nicki Minaj.
Last week, during the Tidal X: 1015 concert, one of Nicki Minaj’s biggest dream’s came true. The 33 year old “Starships” rapper finally got the opportunity to meet her idol, Lauryn Hill, and let’s just say Minaj was at a loss for words.
Many have criticized Minaj, claiming that she doesn’t show recognition for female emcees who were in the game before her. However, after the video of Minaj paying homage to Hill went viral, the rumor was put to an end. The clip caught one particular person’s eye – Foxy Brown.
Brown took to Instagram, not only to praise Minaj for her respect for Hill, but to throw a little shade at Lil Kim as well. The “Ill Na Na” rapper wrote, “I Laugh When They Say She Never Gives It Up To The “GREATS” Cuz She’s Humbly Bowed To Both #LBOOGIE (My Fav) & #FOXBOOGIE Publicly!,” Foxy wrote on her Instagram page. “Maybe Y’all Mad Bitches Just Aren’t Who She Considers “The Bar” (FB Lingo lol) *FYI: Nic Knows I’d Never Thro My “WO” On No Collabo Wit Less Than Greatness Tho!”
