This year has been a very rewarding year for Fetty Wap, he has quite a lot to be thankful for. Not only has he released a number of catchy songs that are in rotation all over the world, but he has also broken records becoming the first artist in four years to have two Top 10 songs on the Billboard Hot 100, not to mention his self-titled debut album snagged the number one slot on the charts.
Just in time for the holidays, the 24 year old “679” rapper decided to give back to his fans. While in New Jersey’s Garden State Plaza mall over the weekend, he tossed $2,000 in singles and $700 in 20 dollar bills over a balcony for fans to grab. After doing a good deed (which was captured in numerous videos), Fetty took to his Twitter tweeting, “Got to see my daughter today , took her shoppin and I was so happy I threw 2k in the mall never no who needed it 💯💰 #Wap”.
Of course, there’s always a lurking hater from the sideline. One fan commented under a clip of the video on Instagram writing, “he will be broke in a year”. Fetty clapped back adding, “Must not no my investments… I invested very well and make money while I’m sleeping and, honestly I don’t see what’s the problem it was only 2k in singles and 700 in 20s… You never no who needed that bread and plus I got to see my daughter I was in a good mood, shoud’ve been around ya bum a** probably needed a couple hunna”. Kudos to Fetty for giving back!
