P-Dice has filed a lawsuit against Fetty Wap for $7 million.

Fetty Wap and his former friend, P-Dice, haven’t been on good terms since he was kicked out of Remy Boyz. So Dice’s lawsuit against Fetty doesn’t come as that much of a surprise.

According to Dice, he helped Fetty write “679”, and is entitled to some money for his efforts. However, Dice’s vocals were removed from the song, and he feels that Fetty did it purposely to avoid having to compensate him.

Initially, Fetty verbally agreed to give Dice writing credits and 16.9% percent of the profits of the record. But once Dice’s verse was cut out, his profits were reduced to 5%. The edited version ended up on Fetty’s debut album, “Fetty Wap”, which debuted number 1 on Billboard.

P-Dice is suing Fetty for damages in excess of $7 million.

Last year, Fetty appeared on “Sway In The Morning” on Shade 45 and revealed why he decided to part ways with P-Dice, stating, “Really to be honest with you, P. Dice – he had his own little thing he was doing, even before the whole thing blew out of proportion. Like I said, I’m a real cool dude, you feel me? He knew Monty. We all knew each other, but I knew him through Monty. So the relationship, it was more of Wap and Monty, and then Dice.”

“People started noticing that after a while, and it was looking funny because people would be like, ‘Yo, y’all dropped him? That’s messed up!’ and it was never really like that! As time progressed, I felt like – Monty was at every show. He never missed a show. He was always present. Whenever you’d see me, you’d see Monty. Whenever you’d see me on stage, you’d see Monty on stage.”

Fetty went on to say, “But when it was time to do the big shows like the BET Awards and the MTV Awards and stuff like that, you’d see three of us. And I don’t think that was fair. So I took it as like the CEO of the Remy Boyz, I told him like a man. Like, ‘If you’re gonna be that squad, be that squad.’ I’m still gonna support you, but it just didn’t go out like that.

“Like they always say, when you start making a little bit of money, people start feeling some type of way. My thing is, I earned my money. I earned where I’m at right now to make the money I make. So how you gonna just jump in and expect to be like a Monty when you ain’t put that Monty work in?”
