Drake says he played no role in his bodyguard beating up Detail.
Back in June, it was reported that Drake was being sued by his former producer, Detail, after he was beat up by the rapper’s bodyguard. According to Detail, the 6 God’s bodyguard viciously attacked him one night when he showed up to his house to work with him in the studio. Detail says Drake set the whole thing up because he wouldn’t work with just him.
Detail claims he was hospitalized for days after the bloody beatdown. He also says that he suffered a broken jaw and several other injuries that required surgery. Drake has since appeared in court and says that his bodyguard acted out in self defense. Court documents also revealed that Drizzy said that Detail was assuming the risk when he came over to his house at approximately 2 a.m.
Detail is seeking unspecified monetary damages for his hospital bills and emotional distress.
