If you’ve watched DMX’s episode of “Iyanla: Fix My Life” then you already know that his 22 year old son Xavier is extremely bitter and angered because his father hasn’t played much of a role in his life. So it’s no surprise that Xavier is now selling his father’s platinum plaques for And Then There Was Blood and Flesh Of My Flesh, Blood Of My Blood on eBay.
Allegedly, Xavier stumbled across the plaques in his home and decided it would be a great idea to sell them and use the cash to fund his career. Xavier is following in his father’s footsteps and pursuing a career as a rapper, apparently all he needs is a few funds to get started. He is selling the plaques on eBay for a total of $3,000.
Back in 2013, Xavier sat down for a interview with Pigeons and Planes and was asked if he had plans for an album, EP, or an official release. He stated, “You know, it’s really hard now, because sometimes you get creative and sometimes, you’re just stuck. I’m at this point now, where every song is like one meaning. But now that, I guess I’m not having that many experiences, or any worth writing about. I’m just kind of making them up. Making songs that are more obscure or abstract, meanings could be all over the place. But a release? I might re-issue Morning Truths to give it better studio versions.”
DMX is currently serving a six month sentence in jail for owing $400,000 in back child support.
