DJ Khaled’s ninth studio album, “Major Key”, is slated to drop later this year.
Thursday night, Khaled appeared on Jimmy Kimmel Live! for an interview, where he made a few announcements and revealed the album cover. When Jimmy Kimmel asked the We The Best head honcho if it was the right time to unveil the cover, Khaled stated, “Any time is always the right time. The key is it’s always that time. The other key is the more we show it, the more this show is going to continue to be bigger and bigger every day.”
The impressive cover art shows Khaled sitting on a golden throne surrounded by a vivacious field of flowers and a beautiful lion, which was captured by renowned photographer Jonathan Mannion. Some of the biggest names in the industry will be featured on the album – including Kanye West, Lil’ Wayne, Rick Ross, Bryson Tiller, Big Sean, Wale, Jay Z, and Future.
Major Key will be available for pre-order this Sunday night, June 26, following the premiere of the 2016 BET Hip-Hop Awards.
