Detroit rapper Dej Loaf killed her performance on Hot 97’s Summer Jam Festival Stage yesterday leaving us all yearning for more. But guess what? You don’t have to be disappointed because Dej Loaf has more music on the way. The 24 year old emcee has a new EP in the works that will drop some time before July.
Dej revealed the news in a interview with Hot 97’s Peter Rosenberg after her performance. Although she didn’t announce a specific release date, nor many details about the EP, she stated, “Me and Meek also did a couple of songs. I did something for his album. It’s going to be nice, we’re just getting locked in for the album. We’re working on music, there’s more time to make music. We’ll also be doing a lot of features and stuff. You’ll see.”
Loaf was chosen as part of the XXL Magazine 2015 Freshman Class, which is a huge accomplishment.
Last year she gained much recognition upon the release of her mixtape Sell Sole.
