Over the weekend, David Banner allowed his temper to get the best of him, and it ultimately landed him behind bars. On Sunday, the 42 year old “Play” rapper lost his cool outside of a Washington, D.C. bar when a bouncer denied a member of his crew entry to Ozio Restaurant & Lounge.

According to the police report, Banner approached the bouncer with a clenched fist and stated, “I got you n*ggas, I got you. You a sellout n*gga I got money.” It was then that Banner allegedly threw his money and credit cards at the bouncer. When police arrived and made an attempt to calm Banner down and dissolve the altercation, Banner became even more enraged and belted out, “I don’t give a f*ck about no police!”. Fed up with his antics, the police arrested Banner.

Luckily for Banner, instead of doing any hard time he was simply issued a ticket and fine for inciting a fight.

The following day, Banner addressed the incident on Twitter, writing, “Club Ozio in #Washington DC I hope that you treat the people of the city better than what I experienced last night. If not #shutitdown. If we spend our money with you then treat our people right. I hope to represent my people with grace, style and respect. ‘But’ I’m a grown man. There is a point where I must protect ‘My’ honor first. What happened to me is not important. It is my feeling though that it may be a common practice. If so, that is the bigger problem.”
