Quality Control’s dynamic duo City Girls release new single ‘You Tried It’ – their first single together since JT was released from prison.
The internet went into shambles on October 8, 2019 once news broke that JT was free and City Girls would soon be reunited to profess their collective adoration for parchments of value and solvent relationships that serve a purpose.
‘You Tried It’ is memoir of candid recollections from peculiar encounters in the past that demean what value exist today for Yung Miami and JT’s implied significant other – as referenced in the chorus, “You tried it hoe/That shit ain’t work/You made em’ bae/I fucked em’ first“.
City Girls did what they had to do and adamantly conveyed what sentiments project their reasoning for such a blunt disposition and also provided receipts to support their conclusion.
With Yung Miami welcoming her newfound bundle of joy (Summer) into the world and celebrating JT’s return all in the same month, it’s appearing as though City Girls definitely have some content at their disposal but for right now it’s still – if it doesn’t make money, if doesn’t make sense, period.
